Biotônico Fontoura is one of the oldest and most traditional brands in Brazil. The brand was founded in 1910 by pharmacist Cândido Fontoura Silveira. This book tells the story of the brand as also part of Brazilian visual history. The book features two facsimiles of remarkable Almanac Biotônico and Jeca Tatu booklets, both edited and created by the Brazilian writer Monteiro Lobato.
